Mindy Newton | Team Leader and Managing Broker

Mindy was born and raised in Washington State and has spent most her life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She graduated from college in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Her degree took her to California where she worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for 7 years before returning to Washington.

Mindy has spent the last 20 years working and living in Snohomish County where she is raising her 5 children with her husband Michael. She and Michael adopted 3 of their 5 children. They love to go camping, hiking, waterskiing, and traveling together.

Mindy founded the Greater Sound Real Estate team in 2007, and the team has continued to grow ever since. She has become one of the top agents in the area and has ranked in the top 1% for sales production for many years.

Mindy primarily spends her time listing properties and has a strong track record for pricing, marketing, negotiating, and closing sales. She successfully manages an ever-growing team of agents and works to raise the bar of professional service in the real estate industry.

Mindy also has a strong desire to help others achieve financial stability and has spent considerable time teaching others how to become debt free by teaching Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace Principles. She is a phenomenal instructor and is truly passionate about helping others become free from the bondage of debt.

Miriam Porter | Office Manager - Director of Operations

Miriam was born in Whitefish, Montana but her family moved to Oak Harbor when she was young. She attended Puget Sound Christian College and earned a BS in Global and Intercultural Studies in 2006. Before starting in Real Estate Miriam worked for a large association management company in Bellevue for 6 years doing everything from customer service to managing properties.

In January of 2014, Miriam gladly joined the Greater Sound Real Estate team as a licensed Administrative Assistant. Miriam enjoys running, watching movies, practicing yoga, and spending time with her 2 children and Husband.

Kari Blouin | Database & Lead Manager

Kari was born and raised in Snohomish, attending Snohomish High School until her junior year, ultimately graduating from Bigfork High School, when her family made a move to Montana. After college, she happily returned to her hometown of Snohomish to raise her family. For 15+ years she worked as a drafter in the engineering, architectural, and surveying fields. A downturn in the economy plus an interest in real estate, led her to join Mindy Newton and the Greater Sound team as an administrative assistant in 2008.

After the birth of her youngest child in 2011, she took some time off to concentrate on her family. In 2014 she rejoined the team part-time, working behind the scenes to help support her teammates.  

In her spare time, Kari enjoys spending time with friends and family, CrossFit, reading, and volunteering at her church.

Molly Little | Transaction Coordinator

Molly was born in San Diego, California and moved to Port Townsend in the early 80's where her father started a construction company building custom homes.  After 20 years in the bar industry, she decided to give real estate a try and instantly felt at home.

Molly began her real estate journey in 2019 working on the sales side up until 2022 when she decided she preferred to work on the back end and do transaction management.  Molly enjoys traveling, all things coffee, and spending time with her family.

Ron Manalo | Broker

Ron Manalo is an experienced REALTOR® with Real Brokerage, serving buyers and sellers throughout Bothell, Mill Creek, and Everett, Washington. With 12 years in real estate, Ron has closed more than 800 transactions and consistently produces approximately $55 million in annual sales. Serah Gaswint | Broker

Serah Gaswint is a REALTOR® and licensed real estate agent in Stanwood, Washington, serving residential buyers and sellers throughout Snohomish County. Minahil Nauman | Broker

I was born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, and completed my bachelor’s in business administration with a major in Finance in 2015. After graduation, I began a career in education, teaching middle school mathematics. However, a change of life plans saw me moving to South Bend, Indiana, as I accompanied my husband for his MBA. In 2018, we relocated to Seattle for his job, and I decided to pursue my passion for real estate.

I love helping people find their dream homes where they can create memories and experience the joys of family life. I enjoy understanding the specific desires of each client and matching them with a place they can call home. My education in finance, also helps me guide clients through the daunting financial aspects of buying a home. 

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with my one-year-old daughter.

Julie Magnano | Broker

Julie was born and raised in Bellevue, WA. After earning a bachelor of arts in business administration degree with a major in marketing at Seattle University, she became a licensed real estate broker.

Julie joined the Greater Sound Real Estate Team as a buyer’s agent in 2015, and has a true passion for real estate. She wakes up every morning grateful to have a career she loves. Amanda Wetzel | Broker

Amanda Wetzel is a licensed Washington State REALTOR® and residential real estate agent based in Lake Stevens, Washington. She serves buyers and sellers throughout Snohomish County, King County, and parts of Skagit County, providing representation for primary residences, relocation clients, and move-up buyers. Licensed since 2023, Amanda has helped dozens of buyers and sellers navigate the home buying and selling process across the Greater Seattle region.
